On this 3-hour excursion, we’ll take you to explore the fascinating east coast, a journey where nature and volcanic history meet. We’ll start in the charming El Llanito neighborhood with a quick introduction to driving the buggy. Afterward, we will venture into the heart of the island, crossing the impressive mountains of Breña Alta, Breña Baja, and Mazo, immersing ourselves in a laurel forest, the ancient woodland that will make you feel like you are in a magical world.
Witnesses to La Palma's Volcanic History
The climax of our adventure is the arrival at the picturesque Porís de Mazo. Here, you will witness something truly spectacular: the ancient solidified lava flows that snake along the coast, remnants of the Cumbre Vieja's activity. Our route will allow you to see the Martín Volcano up close, whose eruptions have left an indelible mark on the landscape. You will learn the history of how its lava, on October 2, 1646, descended the slopes to reach the sea, affecting the neighborhoods of Mazo. This is a geotourism experience that connects directly with the power of La Palma's nature, an authentic journey through time that will leave you speechless.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

The company reserves the right to modify or cancel the tour due to safety or force majeure: weather alerts, extreme heatwaves/haze (calima), forest fire risk, closure of forest tracks by authorities, or not reaching the minimum group size of 6 people. In these cases, you will be offered: 1) An alternative date or 2) A full 100% refund.
2.- By the Client:
More than 48 hours notice: FREE CANCELLATION! 100% full refund, no questions asked.
Date Changes: Free of charge up to 24 hours before the tour starts (subject to availability).
Between 48h and 24h notice: No refund, but a voucher valid for 1 year will be issued.
Last 24 hours or "No Show": No changes or refunds allowed.
